05:00 -05:15 Pick-up at your hotel for a visit to Cai Rang Floating Market. After a brief safety instruction, hop on the back of your local guide’s motorbike to Ninh Kieu Pier and board a local boat.

Cruise along the peaceful Mekong River at sunrise before arriving at the vibrant Cai Rang Floating Market, a cultural heritage highlight of the Mekong Delta.

Breakfast on the Water – A Unique Mekong Delta Experience

After approximately 30 minutes cruising by boat, you will arrive at the floating market. Step away from the busy city and into the living heart of the Mekong Delta.

You’ll witness a vibrant trading scene on the river, with local vendors selling fresh produce and goods straight from their boats. Everyday life comes alive on the water, offering an authentic glimpse into the unique culture and rhythm of the Mekong River. You may engage with local vendors, try your hand at gentle bargaining, and experience the warmth and vibrant energy of community life on the river.

You’ll enjoy a truly one-of-a-kind experience: breakfast served right on the boat, gently swaying along the Mekong River. Savor one of the local breakfast favorites such as Hu tieu (noodle soup), Banh canh (thick noodle soup), Bun (rice vermicelli), or Com tam (broken rice), paired with an authentic Vietnamese coffee. After breakfast, enjoy one refreshing selection of seasonal tropical fruits such as pineapple or rambutan or mango, depending on what is freshly available during your visit.

Then ride to the outskirts of Cần Thơ to see a recognized Vietnamese heritage tree, while your guide shares local stories and insights along the way.
